Goedemorgen Amsterdam - Euro Trip 4
This canal passes right under his flat
After 11 am, it became really boring in the huge flat. By compulsive behaviour I cooked sambar and rice for my lunch. I made enough sambar to last for all the flat mates for dinner. Then I took a long warm bath and slept all through the day.

By evening I strolled along the neighbourhood and went to the business area called Bijlmer arena where R worked (its half an hour – two bus ride from the house). Thankfully he had received a message from Air-France that my luggage would be delivered the next day.

He showed me around and after couple of drinks we decided to hit the theatre for a movie called “Funny people” It turned out to be lousy movie I ever watched, actually it is exactly opposite to what funny meant in any language. We walked out within half an hour.
Shopping malls and resturants
Next day I woke up late and found myself alone in the flat. After a coffee I was browsing for a while and heard a strange noise. At first I thought its calling bell, but it turns out to be “front door security intercom” which had a video of man waiting at the door. I had no idea how to operate the device. After a great deal (I buzzed security several times! Which I guess should be done only during emergencies) I managed to let him in. I got my luggage! And an apology note with 25 euro discount on next booking!

No amount of diamonds or gold would have made me happier at that moment. Everything was intact except a smudgy smelly brown thing in a cover, which later identified as a muffin stuffed in at the last min. I took shower in MY Shampoo, used MY perfume and put on MY clothes! I felt so ME! Later I met R near Bijlmer arena and we took the train to the city.

We reached the central station in half an hour. Amsterdam is well connected by bus, tram, trains and ferries. This largest city & capital of Netherlands is situated at North Holland province. You may know already that Netherland is famous for its liberal policies towards controversial things like drugs, prostitution, homosexuality and euthanasia! Prostitution is long held business here and it’s an official gay capital.

No matter what your interest in the night life is, Amsterdam has something to offer. I happen to do something that night I never done before! It’s not something to be proud of, yet I felt no regret or shame doing that, in fact it turned out to be so much fun....

Our knot opener ( mudichavikki) gils put south indian lady dance ( gummi) here and many gals ( gujilis ) support that dance (same kummi) , then my ear blood come. Thats why i shout , what is this small baby dance(gummi) like happening here.

Yes I chilled out on the first day :) not because i wanted but because i had to, when it comes to sight seeing I can go on with little rest for days :)
it's officially autumn here too and it's colder than last year's...
