அது ஒரு governement free hostel for sc/bc students. அவங்களுக்காக ஒதுக்க பட்ட room , just next to toilet! Not just that , the place is totally unclean and not fit for anyone to live in.

The unbearable rejection at the family side to few of them. government hostel food

இதுனால இவங்க படிக்கறது சிலதுதான் ( BA/MA/ Bed / Med / Mphil - Tamil/ english / history or Music) இதை படிச்சிட்டு ஆசிரியரா மட்டுந்தான் போக முடியும், அதுலேயும் open competition. physically challenged candidate quota (as far as i know its 2 or 3 % only).

Few girls colleges will not allow male scribe at all !!.. thats the big head ache.

Mail நிறைய போட்டதால IT field la இருக்கிறவங்களுக்கு awarness வந்திருக்கு.

Below are the names few of my scribe network friends who always support me, I take this oppurtunity to thank each and everyone especially surya who never let me down when it comes to arranging scribes. I am very proud about each one of them. Through these people I reached more than hundereds of scribes to read on sundays, write exams, assignments , record casettes and assist students in every way.

After seeing your post i got reminded about the famous chinese proverb..
I use to cry bcos i din't have shoes for my legs..untill one day, when i saw people without legs"
As you said definitely physically challenged are more stronger than us, mentally. And there is a lot of life size lessons to be learnt from them. Good post..and a thought provoking one.one suggestion i have in this regard is most of the corporates (including my company), have a CSR (corporatE SOCIAL responsibility) group in them, through which they do a lot of social service. i hope most of the volunteers are studious in what they are serving the society. so why can't be make a try with them regarding getting scribes for visually challenged people ???

Ramanatha,

Thanks ramanatha.. most companiesla erukkara CSRs varanga... exams ezhutharanga.. ana everybody is free on weekdays. Problem starts when the exam is on weekday. Anyway now we have bigger network of people. Arranging scribes is little difficult when compared to six months back. Now I am not all alone also :)

Hi Srivats
Words cant describe the good work that you are doing....I had been to the physically challenged school once and was shocked at the ability of the childern to understand. More than that I was amazed by the patience and dedication of the CTS ppl involved in this project.
