Crazy, mad and lost

Today
I missed my train
In a split second
The head rush
Made me bent down and I gasped
Instead of a "kick in the air" and "oh my shit”
I smiled and tapped on my head
Am I crazy?

I answer " Yes honey"
To my manager's call
I look up and admire street lamps
Like they are xmas's fall
Am I lost?

I mess up things and blush!
A hand on my mouth
And a smile so silly
I keep counting them
To narrate, for they seem so funny!
Am I mad?

I am...
Lost in your thoughts,
Crazy in love, and
Mad about you.

I keep writing about all of them
So while waiting, I can hum
These songs, that lingers
On your eyes and lips
Until the time, mine meet yours’

good song . short and sweet. And love makes you crazy enough to admire such small things and makes you a poet. I wonder the moment you meet your love we could have much more poems to enjoy.... Cheers. The time starts to make it happen soon

Goedemorgen Amsterdam - Euro Trip 4

Morning came and I found myself looking over this wonderful sight from the window. R was very generous to accommodate me in his flat which he shares with his colleagues. My official guide was very busy plus I was yet to get my luggage so I couldn't go anywhere. I stood in the balcony with no jacket for a long time soaking in the surroundings. I enjoyed letting out smoke from my mouth. Amsterdam’s autumn winds cooled me to the bones. This canal passes right under his flat After 11 am, it became really boring in the huge flat. By compulsive behaviour I cooked sambar and rice for my lunch. I made enough sambar to last for all the flat mates for dinner. Then I took a long warm bath and slept all through the day. Late morning view By evening I strolled along the neighbourhood and went to the business area called Bijlmer arena where R worked (its half an hour – two bus ride from the house). Its feels like years since I blogged, and words are failing me now. I guess the reason is not just "two semster so I am busy" saga but the fact that I found a new medium to express myself.  Every artist goes through this stage, where he feels shy to show his work, or rather worried about being criticised. Its like showing yourself out, a part of you, that might feel personal and sacred to you.  I was dozing off in this cucoon period and thats the reason I did not share any of my work until now.  But I guess the time has come and at the end of the day an artist has to go public.   So here it is my latest project, for all those who kept asking me whats cooking.
