And so I give up

I just realised! Like a bulb above my head

I give up, cant do this anymore,
I cant waste one more hour on this
especially for all the below reasons
For friends who kept calling

For friends who took all the yelling

For blogger friends like Preethe who write mails to encourage.



And for my good friend Vimal who listened to all the complaining
Who said not a word as advice or suggestion the whole evening
But gave me *hug* when I left his place.

And so I give up - I cant afford to be down anymore
p.s: Actually I realised its friday evening ;)

I happen to see this video of elephant giving birth and it blew me off. The mother elephant (after delivery) checked the calf which neither breathed nor moved. Goedemorgen Amsterdam - Euro Trip 4

Morning came and I found myself looking over this wonderful sight from the window. R was very generous to accommodate me in his flat which he shares with his colleagues. My official guide was very busy plus I was yet to get my luggage so I couldn't go anywhere. I stood in the balcony with no jacket for a long time soaking in the surroundings. I enjoyed letting out smoke from my mouth. Amsterdam’s autumn winds cooled me to the bones. This canal passes right under his flat After 11 am, it became really boring in the huge flat. By compulsive behaviour I cooked sambar and rice for my lunch. I made enough sambar to last for all the flat mates for dinner. Then I took a long warm bath and slept all through the day. Late morning view By evening I strolled along the neighbourhood and went to the business area called Bijlmer arena where R worked (its half an hour – two bus ride from the house). The page markers I made for consolation prize, The one on the left is for Rachana's Humming Today. The one on the right is for Savitha, It denotes her vibrant yet sensitive and elegent personality. Today I ate rice by hand at lunch (I have lost this habit a while ago). It does have a difference in taste. I read somewhere that it helps by preparing the body to assimilate the kind of food you are taking. (Contact with oily food would make u secrete more gastric juice required for the digestion) Talking about food, Singapore has got vast variety even for a veggie like me. When I pack my bags by next month, I am going to miss eateries/food that isn’t available in India.
